Located in historic Boyds, MD, the Kamran Center was opened in September 2014. It’s the home of the Zoroastrian Association of Metropolitan Washington, Inc. (ZAMWI), a religious, non-profit organization founded in 1978. It encourages its worshipers ascribe to a simple mantra: good thoughts, good words and good deeds. Many members outstanding citizens, highly educated professionals, and are considered leaders in their communities.
The building sits on nearly 5 acres of beautiful lush greenery and landscaping. Inside is a large main hall that boats high ceilings with 5 elegant large chandeliers. The hall is approximately 5,000 square feet, and can comfortably seat 200 guests with a generous dance space. The rich white walls enable the client to truly transform the space in countless ways which is ideal for any type of event.
Rental of this venue comes with 20 round tables (72″) and 200 banquet chairs. Smaller rooms adjacent to the main hall, offers space to spread out for your event. The outdoor lawn lined with a thick tree line, allows for both privacy and the ability to expand outwards creating an indoor/outdoor feel.
The Kamran Center was recently renovated with a warming kitchen, separate bar area and free WIFI. There is also an ensuite bridal room, perfect to get ready in for your special day!
